I had never seen this one! Nice collection of DC movies.

Father's Day: Feels a little raw, but there's a nice jumpscare to it.

The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verril: Things that grow have always scared me, but this one works for me. Fortunately Stephen King has become an author and not an actor, that is also apparent here, could have been a little less thick, but still very nicely done.

Something to Tide You Over: I think that's the most famous DC Horrorcomics story. As a whole also the strongest part and with all the compliments to Leslie Nielsen as the cheated husband.

The Crate: Pretty nice, but could have done with a little more tempo.

They're Creeping Up On You: Also a bit thick, but I think everyone thinks cockroaches are disgusting, I do anyway and if we're going to get itchy somewhere tonight, it's because of this story.

In order from best to least: Something to Tide you Over, They're Creeping Up On You, The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verril, The Crate and Father's Day (3,5,2,4,1 ).

Five short stories with the major drawback that none of them are well developed. The first two in particular just don't seem to be finished. By the time it should explode, it's all done and you're already moving on to the next one. Therefore Creepshow is only fun for fans of old eighties horror, because visually there is sometimes something to enjoy. Or you must be an overly big fan of George A Romero. I think even for most horror fanatics, Creepshow is fun for once.

Friendly. Creepshow lies between laughter and horror and consists of five stories, inspired by a horror comic. Let's just say the first story is a warm-up. A short story that builds up to a macabre climax. I liked the second one, with Stephen King in the lead role and is about a space chunk that smashes into Jordy Verrill's vegetable garden with far-reaching consequences. Third is a revenge story that has a great ending. I liked The Crate the least, partly because of the more absent tension. The icing on the cake, however, is the latter: cockroaches and more cockroaches. Some scenes were really gross to me. It cannot be denied that this Creepshow is amusing with regular fun moments. It is a film that has also acquired a strong status in the genre, although this is probably all too soft and dated for today's horror enthusiast.
