About Netflix
Netflix is one of the biggest streaming services in the world with over 220 million subscribers. Initially, Netflix was created as a DVD rental service that saw customers receive movies or TV shows via delivery before sending them back. However, in 2007, Netflix established itself as an on-demand streaming service that allowed users access to content by paying a monthly fee. Six years later, the company would go into the production side of the business by creating its own content, kicked off by its first series, House of Cards. It is now considered a business juggernaut and has produced some of the biggest recent titles in the industry such as Red Notice, The Gray Man and Stranger Things.
