Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner) is now a Starfleet Academy instructor. However, he does not like life behind a desk. dr. McCoy (DeForest Kelley) and Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy) convince him to take on a simple-sounding mission, but with the appearance of the mysterious Khan it becomes very dangerous.

In the original 1967 Star Trek episode 'Space Seed', the superior war criminal Khan Noonien Singh (Ricardo Montalban) is left behind by Captain Kirk on the inhospitable planet Ceti Alpha VI. Fifteen years later, a research team from a USS starship arrives on the planet, only to be overpowered by Khan's henchmen. Khan then takes possession of the spaceship with only one goal: revenge on Captain Kirk.
Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan is the second in the Star Trek series, and one of the better ones. A lot better than the weak Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), at least good enough to hold the attention for the length of the film. A nice science fiction movie. 3.5*

Good movie in which the Enterprise is on a training mission until they are called up for a real mission. Compared to the first film, this second part contains a lot more humor and the whole is a lot more adventurous. This ultimately makes for a more entertaining and entertaining movie. The characters get enough space and the death of Spock unexpected choice.

Like the first Star Trek, this one gets 3*. The characters hang together better here and the ending twist was a big surprise. However, I thought the bad guy was a wimpy figure who looked like a member of a glam metal band. Only his electric guitar was missing. While the story was stronger in the first film, here a standard revenge story is served with a villain who rushes at Captain Kirk like a bull on a red rag. I didn't find it all exciting and clever, but it did work as a viewing feed where you can check your messages on messenger in between.
