B-movie that doesn't go under because of bad acting.
The acting is quite believable and certainly the strong side of this film. The script itself is also decent. The effect alone tends to falter in terms of the victims' actions. Too often there were possible ways out, but they were never used. I can have that once, but if it keeps happening it's going to be very irritating. Also things like the ending, a struggle to get her in that crate but all the objects are still neatly displayed on the floor. It may be details, but all these details make the movie. Also a missed opportunity is the action at the store, why is nothing else happening with the call to the police? The first hour of the film goes on and on and gets boring quickly, until it dawns that it could be trafficking in women a lot of people would probably drop out by now. That whole part certainly has similarities with The Hitcher! I also can't imagine that people find this film predictable, maybe a few little things like what they're going to do next, but certainly not what the driver's entire intention is. Until the film is on 3/4, that's really hard to guess.
I don't think this film is realistic at all, despite the fact that the subject does indeed happen in real life, I find the elaboration and reaction and actions of the passengers far from credible, so not realistic.
The ending and denouement were, as many others have said, indeed good, but the whole movie before that was just disappointing.

A little mixed feelings. On the one hand, a pretty good thriller with a motive that remains a mystery for a long time. On the other hand, Anderson seems to be holding back and the whole situation barely touches me.

At the wrong time and the wrong place; it happens to the two friends Mel and Jules. The driver soon drives in the wrong direction, which is the starting signal for an exciting ride. It is mainly because you do not know what the driver is planning, although the entire journey is stretched a bit too long. A big plus are the faces of the two ladies, it makes the dialogues a lot more pleasant. Curran as the perpetrator was not completely convinced, those few minutes of Andy in the badguy role were already better.

There are a few things that are quite confusing. That bus that crashes and stands up again a minute later and drives great again is nonsense, but the pinnacle was the driver getting up; It's not even that bright in most full-blooded horrors. And why that piece of GTST in between in that room between the girlfriends? Who cares, boohoe. Ultimately, the motive is shocking, but the execution failed to grab me. Then I would rather recommend a movie like Trade, which clearly knew how to do that. Not a bad movie, but when I look back, it's not that special.

Entertaining and somewhat entertaining, but with just too many weak points, so that the score ultimately falls to the negative side. Especially the ending, where the killer after a stab full in the leg and a pistol shot from one meter! distance still so cheerful. I thought that was just too much of a good thing.

Furthermore, the bus ride itself can be called quite entertaining, partly because the ladies themselves don't play very badly. In addition, I must honestly say that I did not see turn from Andy to bad guy, for a while and liked it in itself.

I just didn't find it that exciting. The characters did too little for me and I found their escape attempts only half-baked. Until the very last turn Shuttle was also on a pass, but I thought that was just a bit too much of a good thing. A nice thriller with a few nice scenes, but with a lesser bad guy and an ending that clearly comes a little too late.

2.5*
