"Return to the Romance, Return to the Adventure..."
A widow is left with a boy, a girl and a sailor. After a few days, the sailor tries to kill the babies, but the woman manages to kill him. After a while they manage to reach an uninhabited island. She raises the children and when the children are about 8 years old, she dies. The children fall in love and get married in the jungle. When after years a ship reaches the island, this leads to many conflicts.

Another nonsense number. Return To The Blue Lagoon is far from a good film, but the film is in no way worse than the original. In fact, the acting was quite a bit better here than it was in the original Blue Lagoon.
Furthermore, the film suffers from all the craziness that was present before. What's different is the fact that there are some more harder scenes here than before, such as an threat of rape and the rapist being eaten by a tiger shark. Nothing very explicit, but it is. just a little extra to make it not completely as good as the original. But yes, that version had a much better soundtrack and was all together a bit more relaxed.
Both are just not very special films, but they are never offensive either. The flop 100 position really surprises me.

Mediocre. The film starts terribly bad and almost laughable, especially the acting, although that remains of a questionable level throughout the film. But halfway through the film something springs up, especially when other people on the island join. And then fall back down. The film is hardly captivating, from time to time there are still beautiful images to be seen. 1.5*.
