Still bland, but at least a lot better than the previous part. Too bad that many jokes are just lame and often miss the mark. The exaggerated reactions of the rest of the cast (such as the laughter) also works against the film. stupid. In any case, very nice to see Bill Byrge's return. A delicious cup. His female partner in crime is so-so. And why almost the entire cast has to have lipstick again

Horrible.

This has to be one of the worst directed movies I've ever seen. Amateur to the point, unbelievable.

The accelerated scenes are perhaps the worst. Too ridiculous for words and absolutely not funny.

Also the 'extreme close-ups', as Wayne and Garth would say, make this film even worse than it already is. We know that Varney can pull some crazy mules, but we don't need to be reminded of that every five minutes by almost shoving the camera up to his nose. It's a shame to see so little effort put into it, as if the makers had already given up in advance.

Where they keep getting the actors from, it's a mystery to me.

When I say that Varney is the best actor in this picture, it means a lot. For example, the two mad scientists are so sad to watch at work. They just don't give a shit, just like the classmates. The bullies especially excited me to death with their silly screeching and roaring.

I can't say anything good about the story. Retarded and anything but original. Why is the inspector so desperate to close that school? We'll never know.

The structure is also quite curious. After Ernest blows up his performance with the band, he comes to his senses, but then the school still has to be saved, something that has actually stalled in the background. Instead of somehow merging those two storylines together in the end...

Now the film actually consists of two parts.

This is definitely the last 'Ernest' I've seen, I'm more than tired of the man.

It's about time Ernest goes to school. But apparently it was vacation, because he doesn't learn to stop the series. You must indicate that he has character. I gave up. This was (thankfully) the last movie I saw by Ernest. Not really my choice, but a friend from the past liked this and then you sometimes give in.
