Fascinating portrait of a trio, two of which are secretly pubescent in love with Adonis Nicolas. Interesting to note here is the mutual relationship between best friends Francis and Marie which is very tense. The envious glances and opportunistic stings speak volumes. Their childish behavior may also be recognizable, teenage girl level at its best, but it does catch on within the comical note of the film. Nicolas apparently lets it all happen and also enjoys the attention. After all, he can do nothing wrong and I have the impression that he profits from this. I also thought his amusing and at the same time annoyed look when the two others were rolling around was quite impressive.

In addition, several interviews were conducted in the film. I seem to remember something like that in another movie, but can't remember which one. Interesting in itself, but it did take me out of the plot of the film. Furthermore, I also recognized influences such as Noé with those red and blue tones and I also recognized the song Bangbang from Kill Bill vol. 1 from Tarantino.

Pleasant film, just a little too thin to remember, but certainly more than decent. Happy Dolan!

A similar fact would also have lent itself to a comedy, but this is a drama that, unfortunately, ripples along with many reservations about usually unrequited love. A film that eventually loses focus.

Not exactly fascinating, even though the filmmaker tries to bring some enthusiasm with a lot of (dance) music.
