Deeply plot

"All of life is salt water ... tears, sweat and the sea."

Claire McKay (Julia Brendler) is a traumatized teenager who is brought to her ancestors' island in the hopes of getting her life back on track after the sudden death of her first love. Claire meets the eccentric writer Celia (Lynn Redgrave), who tells her the dramatic story of another teenage girl, Silly (Kirsten Dunst).
