Today I saw this movie in the cinema before the release date of October 9th. The cinema had already bought it earlier. I saw the English version (Dutch and 3D version was also available). There were only a few other people in the room. Mostly adults.
Now about the film without giving too many spoilers. Beautiful! Almost constant action and especially the 'education' part I found moving to see. Then the film changes to a somewhat darker side that is perhaps less suitable for children with shootings and explosions. The storyline is good and there are multiple messages in the film.
As an animation lover I mainly went to see the film and the animations were beautiful. Especially the water. Among other things the reflection of a bridge and on the fur. Then the robot itself. In addition, different forms of animation are used in 1 film, which I also find special. You could also clearly see that this film has a 3D version because the scenes that lend themselves well to that are easily taken out. Those scenes could perhaps have been a little less for me. Still, this could well be the animation film of the year!

Beautiful film, a real tearjerker with a high Disney content. To be honest, this film came quite unexpectedly and was not hyped at all as they often do with Disney films. Actually incomprehensible because if they had, this would definitely have been a film with a chance to break records! The trailers are also meaningless, which can normally be quite nice, but I did not find them inviting. I went purely because the first reviews were so positive that I became curious and I am very happy that I went. Our daughters, aged 17 and 9, were glued to the screen from the first minute and so was I 
Beautiful film, beautifully made, good story, for young and old and believe me, you will not keep it dry...
