"What's that?
I don't know.
Read the directions.
There are no directions."

Wonderful children's logic. Plus: luv fantasy, even though this is a movie starring children. It is precisely because of their (played) open-mindedness that I can really lose myself in such a story, in which all kinds of strange events are accepted as normal and experienced as pure. It's amazing that in this film a fabric rabbit appears as an 'alien' from the ocean. What a sweet
It turns out later that it represents the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and a little later it talks about the possibility of time travel and that by the future man.
And yet this succession of fantasies is not too much, it flows together perfectly. Sometimes it reminded me a bit of Donnie Darko and The Box, with eg those transparent bluish materializations.
Brother and sister are introduced to a (super) power, telekinesis via the rabbit. And also telepathy and communication with animals through thoughts, also insights that can be applied in technology.
I thought the ending was beautiful and no, certainly not too sentimental, but touching.

Very nice science fiction for children, which surprisingly also knows how to build tension. Also quite versatile as far as science fiction is concerned. Light-hearted film with great entertainment, especially for children. More than 3 stars.

This is a decent movie, but not a hit. It's all a bit bland and childish. The film doesn't seem to be able to choose between a youth film or adult drama.

The special effects are pretty good. However, the ending is very bad. That's when the movie really falls apart for me. That's too bad. But overall a nice snack.
