A team of researchers, scientists and archaeologists, led by a wealthy industrialist, travels to Bouvet to investigate some pyramids, even older than those in Egypt and Mexico. They appear to have been made by a primordial people who ruled the Earth before our time. Once there, they discover all kinds of fossils and skeletons of aliens, and it is suspected that some of them are still alive. When they enter the pyramid, it turns out that there is another danger lurking. Other creatures have waited a long time for the pyramid to finally open: the Predators...

Still enjoyed the whole pyramid atmosphere.

Saw the successor of this the day before yesterday AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem (2007) and that is also possible, because they are not consecutive films of each other. Maybe some of us will say that at the end of almost every "Alien" movie a monster emerges from an egg and so refers to the next one, but that has no influence on the story of a possible sequel.
This film from 2004 is more fun than the one from 2007 because there is a little more story in it and the set also offers more space for tension. It takes place in (possibly the first in the world?) a pyramid under the ice at the South Pole (Antarctica) and because of the unexpected changes / twists in the "building" it is therefore quite a puzzle for the researchers and experts to after entering, come out alive again.
A fairly exciting film with a rating of a 7 from us.

Reasonable film about an expedition to a pyramid under the ice in Antarctica. As the title suggests, this is a crossover of the Alien and Predator series (better viewed as a separate film). The story itself is rather sparse, but it is all quite adventurous. Moreover, the sets look beautiful and the special effects are also excellent.
