Law of the Plainsman plot
Sam Buckhart is an Apache Indian who saves the life of an American cavalry officer after an Indian ambush. When this officer died, he left Sam money that he used for education in private schools and at Harvard University. After graduating, Sam returns to New Mexico, where he becomes an assistant marshal and works for marshal Andy Morrison. He lives in a boarding house run by Martha Commager.
