Chicago Fire plot

Chicago Fire is an action series that centers on the lives of the heroes of the Chicago Fire Department. No job is more stressful, dangerous and exciting than that of the firefighters, rescue teams and nurses at Chicago Firehouse 51. The enormous responsibilities of their jobs take their personal toll. High reputations and inflated egos, combined with the pressure to perform and make the right decision immediately, create a lot of conflict among members. When tragedy strikes a victim within the team, the team is torn by guilt and blame.

Chicago Fire season 1

The flagship of the Chicago Franchise. After making a name for himself with Law & Order and all its spin-offs, Dick Wolf has plunged into America's Second City, beautiful Chicago. Chicago Fire is about the fire and ambulance personnel of Firehouse 51. These are diverse characters with their own good and bad sides. It is a close-knit team who literally go through fire for each other, but also regularly fight each other out. The rescues are of course spectacularly portrayed and are sometimes excruciatingly exciting. The human drama that comes with a fire or other disaster is often compelling and sometimes heartbreaking. All this makes Chicago Fire one of the better series at the moment. You also get a beautiful view of the city of Chicago. From the luxury residential towers in The Loop and expensive brownstones on Goldcoast to the projects of Englewood. Nowhere is Chicago so beautifully and clearly depicted as in this series.
