The Pembrokeshire Murders plot

Just promoted to Chief Inspector, Steve Wilkins decides to reopen two unsolved homicide cases from the 1980s. This after forensic evidence shows a link to a series of burglaries during the same period. Someone has been convicted of those burglaries, but if the connection is correct, then this man is also a serial killer. Wilkins and his team must gather more evidence to keep the man, who will soon be released, behind bars.

Very fine series where not everything is looked up on the PC in two minutes and one really has to think, search, work, budget and time pressure have to be taken into account, ... .

All this in combination with strong acting, appropriate locations and a smooth and tight tempo, ensures that I definitely think this is one of the better work in its genre.

Smooth three-part thriller drama about a number of cold cases, which will be re-examined in 2006 - 2011. Dramatized, but true. DNA research was still in its infancy, so the detective work is focused on that. 'From the makers of Line of Duty and Bodyguard' made me curious. The result is a bit disappointing, is a bit obedient and ultimately forgettable. But those who liked White House Farm will also enjoy this.

Nice miniseries, fascinating, neatly explained and with good interpretations.

Averse to many clichés of the genre and that is a relief.

A somewhat too sentimental ending could be removed, but in the end it is not a real flaw.

So I want to see more.
