Pioneer plot
The story is set in the early 1980s, at the beginning of the Norwegian oil discovery. Huge amounts of oil and gas are being discovered in the North Sea and authorities want to bring the oil ashore through a pipeline that goes to a depth of 500 meters. Petter, a professional diver, has the discipline, strength and courage to complete the world's most dangerous mission. But an unexpected and tragic accident changes everything. Petter is sent on a dangerous mission where he loses sight of who is pulling the strings. Gradually he realizes that this is beyond his grasp and that his life is at stake.
