Painfully bad. Also very ugly. Many TV movies go further than the gray gang that Hunter conjures up here on the screen. It even gets laughable when he tries to shape Lee Ray's remorse. hopeless. If there's anything interesting to see, if any at all, there's thunderous music to screw it up. The story is of course completely drunk, but it also does not run for a meter and is full of red tape.

The line with the Russians never gets interesting, the scene at the fair, like everything around Michelle Rodriguez, is one to cry and the fuss about Copeland's son is cringe-inducing. Liotta is allowed to enjoy herself for a while, but such a crying fit mainly works on the laughing muscles. Dafoe is also lost. From start to finish a sad film that accomplishes nothing in any way. Well, a youth center. That too.

Nice film in which a death row inmate gets a second chance when he takes a behavior-modifying pill. An original idea that only becomes really interesting when the test subject returns to society. Unfortunately, little is done with it and a somewhat unbelievable plot takes over. This does make for a fairly entertaining thriller with a well-cast Ray Liotta.
