Poor movie that leaves you questioning. I'll just mention a few:

Bad guys who want to conquer the world because they are "sick and tired" of reincarnation. At the same time, they have technology to pull the soul out of a person and store it in some sort of database so that they don't reincarnate... hello?

Good guys looking for the seemingly untraceable (I mean, Mark Wahlberg's character is about 40 to 50 years old and we clearly saw the reincarnations happen by birth) & world-destroying egg the bad guys are looking for. WHY?! It never became clear that the bad guys were able to pull this information out of Mark Wahlberg's character. It feels a bit forced to be able to make some sort of story out of it.

The body of 'Treadway' is about 50 years dead by the time they finally figure out what 'look inside' means, but still in mint condition.

I also find the super powers such as walking on a transport plane or repelling bullets with a sword a bit far-fetched. The reincarnated ones were said to have abilities from their previous lives but I don't see anyone imitating this in past & present?

Visually it still looked good and most of the cast was not too bad. But the story just didn't interest me.

Lifeless and artificial action spectacle, a kind of cross between Highlander and The Fast And The Furious. In any case, the concept doesn't work, with a dull story and a pretty miscast Mark Wahlberg. The rest of the cast barely registers. It all looks slick and you barely get the time to get bored (although I managed to do it repeatedly), but the bloodless action scenes are dime a dozen and there is certainly no tension at all. So shrug your shoulders again and quickly forget that bite.

Every now and then quite exaggerated and confusing, with a little too much fast & furious action
