The film consists of 4 short films by different famous directors: A man who has lost his promotion to a Jewish colleague makes racist remarks, after which he finds himself in the shoes of that person. Old people in a retirement home relive their youth one more time. A young teacher befriends a boy whose house is every child's dream... or nightmare. And a passenger on an airplane thinks he knows where the engine problems of the airplane come from.

Reasonable film based on the TV series of the same name in which four directors take care of four different segments. The four stories can all be called original, but also quite simple and despite the short length, every segment gets a bit long-winded at some point. Of course you can just watch this movie if you've never seen the series.

Homage to the original TV series by Dante, Landis, Miller and Spielberg. After a fantastic opening, things unfortunately go wrong with the first two stories. Landis with a somewhat bland moralistic story. The shooting also cost Vic Morrow and two child actors the lives. The fatal crash is not used in the film in the end. Spielberg comes with a somewhat annoying, cute intended story.
Fortunately, Dante can go wild, third hatch is probably the best of the four. Although Miller comes neck-and-neck with the also very successful 4th and last part. 2 x moderate 2 x very good.
