Christmas at Cartwright's plot
Single mom Nicky Talbot is unemployed and struggling to give her 8-year-old daughter a merry Christmas. When she learns that the department store needs Cartwright's temporary help for the holidays, she decides to apply. However, she is rejected by Fiona Aldrich, who finds Nicky's presence a threat to the relationship she hopes to have with the handsome store manager Bill.
