To begin with, let me first criticize this film for the lack of courage in the story, by which I mean that one of the great fixed rules of these modern times is not broken, the fact that single motherhood should not be criticized.

It must be great for writers that if you are looking for a character who can easily be branded as the bad guy, the ex is always there to fill that spot because the single mother has almost been canonized in our modern times.

And why are there so many single mother characters in modern stories and why are they all so sweetly innocent and often pathetic and why are they never at fault or held at all responsible for the situation they have gotten themselves into?

The fact that that ex can get away with not paying his child support is a lie, in the US you can easily end up in prison for that.

Fortunately, the film scores further points with the compelling story and how everything comes together beautifully in the end, as well as the nice acting of the entire cast.
