Tu Ridi plot

A film consisting of 2 stories. The first story is about Felice. His name may mean 'happy', but Felice certainly isn't. His opera career was shattered by a heart condition. And now his wife suspects him of infidelity, because he laughs so uncontrollably in his sleep. He can't even remember those happy dreams until a colleague commits suicide. Then he meets Nora, who he used to have a crush on when she sang in the opera choir. The second story is about a 12-year-old boy, son of an arrested mob boss, who is kidnapped to silence his father. Coincidentally, there was also a kidnapping 100 years ago in the same mountain area. Not of a child, but of an old man who, in his hostage situation, slowly became a father figure to his new 'family'.
