Very nice movie, well worth watching. I do recommend reading the book first. I think it's great how much emotion is incorporated in the film and how many important topics such as mental disorders, feelings, relationships and school are discussed. In short, definitely one of my favorite movies right now.

Favorite quotes from the movie:

''We accept the love we think we deserve''

''I feel infinite''

''That's when I realized I really love you''

''You can write about us.'' - ''I will.''

No, this was really boring and didn't interest me at all. As stubborn as I am, I have him no less than 3 times! Tried to watch in the past 3 nights purely because it ranks so highly here (incomprehensible), but fell asleep every night after a few minutes. Such a terribly boring, slow, meaningless film. Also very predictable. If you can't fall asleep, watch! If you don't want to waste 1.5 hours, don't. My opinion.

And then they can act well, but in this case you can't save a movie?

As far as I'm concerned, it's especially worth watching because of the enchanting Emma Watson and the nods to older films, a film that was clearly made with the right intentions and has its heart in the right place. Charlie's past could have been more elaborate, it's a bit messy and sometimes confusing.

3.5*
