Tried this one and it wasn't bad, but not really catchy either. The cast actually didn't do too bad, although the story wasn't that waw.

There was one funny scene in it, namely in the pool, but for the rest I didn't think it was that special.

Little fish or meat.

Quite nice in terms of camera work and use of color: lots of warm colors that often convey a feeling of nostalgia and melancholy. Not a bad word about both Williams and Rogen in terms of performances, although Williams does play a terribly annoying person. Story is small scale but fine for most of the playtime, but goes off the rails when Margot eventually leaves her husband. That part of the film is at odds with everything that happened before in terms of tempo and atmosphere. A pity. Because up to that point, I liked the story about a newlywed couple that is gradually growing apart.

I mainly remember excellent acting and beautiful cinematography.

“Life has a gap in it... It just does. You don't go crazy trying to fill it.”

Atmospheric film by Sarah Polley. 'The grass is always greener on the other side', Margot (Williams) learns in a harsh and confrontational way. The long sequence towards the end of the film, where we see Margot and Daniel (Kirby) get to know each other and history repeats itself, is a fantastic directorial choice by Polley. Seth Rogen shows he can do more than play a funny character, and SIlverman is strong too. The story is quite predictable, but I think everyone will recognize themselves in the situations in which the characters find themselves.
