The dull life of businessman Charles Driggs suddenly changes when he meets the wild and sexy Lulu. Disappointing film with a very tiresome Melanie Griffith whose appeal I never understood and a very boring Jeff Daniels. The couple has hardly any chemistry and only when Ray Liotta shows up does it get even more interesting. Fortunately, the pace is good and the film is over quickly.
No, the 80s brought us a lot of nice films, but this one is not one of them in my opinion. An absolute low point for me was the terrible soundtrack.

Underrated cult parable that balances nicely between road movie and erotic thriller. Belongs to the list True Romance & [url=https://www.moviemeter.nl/film/990]Wild at Heart [/ URL]. And that Melanie Griffith.... she's really not inferior to Patricia Arquette & Laura Dern

There is still a lot of freshness in this film. The encounter between a free-spirited girl and a yuppie leads to a series of funny but also dangerous moments when Audrey's ex-boyfriend shows up. Griffith in the sexiest role of her career (although I have yet to see Body Double). The transition from cheerful comedy to brutal thriller is remarkable to say the least. The soundtrack is also good. Totally my thing. 4* stay put.
