"The music and the magic come together..."
Paris, 1959. The saxophonist who now plays in the Blue Note bar was once one of the greatest. He lives in a hotel with other black American musicians, who try to keep him off alcohol so he can perform every night. A young artist, who is very impressed by his music, takes the musician under his wing and ensures that he starts composing and recording again. The saxophonist even gives up alcohol, but can he keep it up in New York without his French friend?
