"Freedom is the greatest adventure"
'Les Géants' tells the story of three somewhat naive youngsters who are firmly convinced that their freedom is up for grabs. Brothers Zak and Seth have little reason to look forward to summer, which presents itself as dull and boring. But then they meet Dany, a teenager from the neighborhood. Together, the three young snakes experience all kinds of mischievous and sometimes downright exciting adventures that change their lives forever.

Small-scale, entertaining film, nice actors (and supporting roles, although some are too thick) and a fine soundtrack. The vagueness and childishness have their charm, but at the same time it's all just a bit too… tame or something, in the sense that little will stay with me. What is nice again is that the boys are 'safe' in nature (nature) but almost every time they get into trouble as soon as they come into contact with adults (culture).

More than an ordinary youth or comin' of age film, because a lot of attention is paid to nature shots and character drawing in our more than naughty youngsters, even though they remain children and they experience that the adult world is one big step ahead of them.
Sometimes humorous, sometimes dramatic, but fascinating across the board and well acted by those young bastards.
