Le Capital plot
The Phenix bank is the largest financial institution in Europe. When the incumbent CEO suddenly turns out to be suffering from cancer, they are forced to look for a new one. They eventually find it in the young, up-and-coming Marc Tourneuil. A surprising candidate who is considered to be easily verifiable. The Board of Directors sees him as a useful stopgap that can keep the chair warm until it returns to its rightful place. But the wily Dittmar Rigule, a slick but ruthless investor, realizes when he plays it right he can take Marc under his spell. However, Marc has no intention of being treated like a wimp.
