A nice tribute to Van gogh with some very nice references to the original.

Normally I don't like remakes much, often simply because they are made without any respect for the original and are purely meant to be money makers.
This is clearly not the case with Buscemi, he makes it clear that this is officially not his film and remains faithful to the original except for a few minor adjustments.

The end scene where he suddenly bumps into barn man was really a surprise and funny that he asked her for this, lucky katja!

I gave the original a 4.5 because I had never seen anything like it before, this film is equally surprising if you don't know the original yet, but because the surprise was already gone, I go for a 3.5.

Beautiful woman is that Sienna, gosh. Really a pleasure to watch her. Fortunately, too, because Steve isn't exactly eye-candy.

I saw the original years ago, but didn't remember much about it. A friend of mine showed up with a stack of DVDs that she no longer needed and that included this 'Interview'.

I thought it was all just a bland bite. It wasn't intriguing enough to keep me interested. The beginning was okay, right up to the moment they entered the apartment. Nice references here and there, such as the taxi scene, that truck with VAN GOGH written in capital letters and such.

Still tired, not always concentrated, but a few scenes were worth it. 2.0*

I didn't know what to expect, but I didn't think it was a bad movie. I thought it was an interesting story. Not really a special story, but still not bad.

The cast certainly didn't do bad and even though the film actually only takes place in two locations, this didn't bother us.

A reasonably short film, but it really shouldn't be more.

Certainly not a bad film, small but nice.
