"Tina Spangler is about to discover just how little she knows about life..."
Tina Sprangler discovers she is pregnant at the age of 15. She thinks about abortion, adoption and life as a single mom. Her boyfriend has let her down, so she consults her mother. Life for Tina is turned upside down right now, but her pregnancy may bring her closer to her family again. According to Tina's mother, children shouldn't have children, but Tina wants to keep the baby. As Tina's tummy gets bigger, she sees fewer and fewer friends. Fate puts her in touch with Laurie, who has just been through the same thing.
