Draft Day plot
"The greatest victories don't always happen on the field."
It's NFL Draft Day and Sonny Weaver Jr. (Kevin Costner), manager of the Cleveland Browns, tries to amass a promising player who could potentially save his current team from ruin. During this day, when teams are given the opportunity to sign new talent straight out of college, Sonny finds out he's not the only one eyeing this upcoming talent – the pick that tops his Draft list. As the day progresses, Sonny must make the difficult choice which players from his current team to lose and whether this sought-after player is worth his final prize.
