Excellent film in which a scientist locks himself in a tank in order to achieve a different consciousness. The film gets off to a slow start, mainly because it's all a bit vague. But gradually the film becomes more and more fascinating and, above all, more exciting. Effective use of special effects and some beautiful montages make this just 4.0 stars.

A pretty cool movie at times. Reminiscent of a Cronenberg, but visually more interesting. Although it seemed dated here and there, the trip scenes were quite enjoyable. I wouldn't be surprised if this was an influential film. The story is very ludicrous and sometimes gets in the way, but the bizarre, surrealistic trips ensure that there is enough fun to experience. The sfx range from 'nice' to 'horribly bad', although that also had a funny effect. All in all, a completely unique film, which is sometimes visually impressive, sometimes (unintentionally or not) hilarious, and ultimately mainly entertaining. Nice to have seen. Spacious 3*.
