After Neil Armstrong's famous first step on the moon, a total of 11 other men have set their feet on the moon. Cene Cernan was the very last one and he stayed there for three days. Just before his return to Earth, he deliberately left his footprints and his daughter's initials in the dust, knowing that no one would come after him anytime soon.
