I saw this film when I was little in the cinema with my parents. The film is not that great. A farce with swapped suitcases and a nice chase. That's about it, the main ingredients of the film. It's also all very recognisable 1972 with nice cars and bright clothing. But the film is easy to watch, even though the story is very artificial and unbelievable. I was actually most surprised by Barbara Streisand's acting talents. I mainly see her as a singer. But I don't know much about her because I find her music terrible.

More entertaining than I expected! Here and there a bit lame but also several times I could laugh out loud! Also I don't really understand why Streisand is considered less by some, she filled her role in a fun way! The pleasantly crazy character suited her perfectly, just like in The Owl and The Pussycat she certainly doesn't disappoint me here.

3.5*

Slapstick... not my thing. That said, I have to admit that this early film from director Peter Bogdanovich is quite well put together, from the fun cast to the many inventive visual gags and pranks. The long car chase towards the end is especially entertainingly shot.
