Uncross the Stars plot
Troy is a young man whose beloved wife dies. But Troy, unable to deal with this kind of grief at this stage in his life, shuts down at her funeral. He has lost all sense of direction, until the day he receives a letter in the mail from his wife, who wrote it before she became ill. In this letter she asks him to build a veranda for his aunt Hilda. With nothing else to do, Troy drives to the desert place where his aunt lives. There he meets Hilda along with a group of joking old ladies, and Bobby, a sort of wise cowboy. They make it easier for Troy to find his place to move on and deal with his grief. They open Troy's eyes by proving to him that he is not alone in going through this pain.
