Nothing plot

"What if you wished everyone - and everything - would just go away!"

Dave and Andrew have been friends since childhood, struggling to find their place in the world. They live together in a dilapidated house near the highway, but they are not happy there either. Dave is on the brink of a nervous breakdown as Andrew frantically tries to shake off his loser image. The two men are near despair and dearly wish that everything would disappear. Much to their surprise, this happens and not long after their wish they are the only survivors in a world full of nothing.

Bizarre idea this! But original and very funny. Lead actors are well cast together and are an entertaining couple. The "nothing" is nicely put down. Brilliant ending with only both heads left. How do you make this up? Great!
A small special film that looks great. Brilliant concept!

Pretty genius first half hour in this forgotten film by Vincenzo 'Cube' Natali. After that the gravy is a bit out, and it remains to be seen how long they can sustain the idea of nothingness. The characters as explained in the beginning become somewhat diluted and it all becomes a bit forced, and the film actually fades away with its own world...

2.5*.

Well. Funny idea, and enough for a handful of nice jokes and some good laughs and chuckles. But as with almost all American comedies, there is a layer of morality/seriousness through it (why why ffs), but that is not necessarily the least. The interaction between the two friends is clichéd, the course is predictable and the 'joke' gets out at a certain point. Blowing it with it will probably soften it I think this would have been ideal for shorts.
