This comedy is certainly not a high-flyer, but thanks to the execution and especially the cast, it can still be done well. The story is not much (nicely invented) but the execution was nicely done (if it was visually good too) and there was more than enough to laugh, especially smiling. What I liked best about this movie was the cast. Uma Thurman especially played nice (especially when she got angry and jealous) and she also looked very nice as a G-Girl. The latter also applies to Anna Faris who also played nice. Luke Wilson was also well cast for this film. He plays solid and solid as usual. All in all I had a pretty good time with this movie and it also looks good (except for the ending which was pretty bland).

“It's G-Girl! She's doing her thing!”
The premise of My Super Ex-Girlfriend offers enough perspective, and the same goes for the actors. Thurman, Wilson, Faris and Izzard have earned their stripes and all three are certainly not bad. But the script is very mediocre and there is little to laugh about a grumpy superheroine who is out for revenge. The sort of action scenes also look laughable. Fortunately, the actors still manage to make the most of it, and they ensure that My Super Ex-Girlfriend does not completely go under.
