It is a pleasant activity in rest home "Klivia". The Engineer is busy inventing. Jet is preparing tasty snacks and sister Klivia herself is bickering with landlord Buurman Boordevol over the telephone about nuisance. An explosion in the basement of the retirement home puts a drastic end to this conversation: the battle between Neighbor Boordevol and Nurse Klivia has broken out in full force. A battle that threatens to get out of hand if Gerrit, Sister Klivia's burglar, is also allowed to stay in the retirement home now that he has promised her to change his life.

Yes Sister, No Sister
Nice movie. The first word that comes to mind when I see Yes Sister, No Sister is clumsiness. In the good sense of the word. The acting is sometimes abominable (Paul de Leeuw, Waldemar Torenstra), the story is about nothing and even the songs are not played too convincingly. But you can see that the actors are having fun, and especially lead actress Loes Luca is in great shape. She almost single-handedly ensures that the film remains worthy of admiration.

Nice film about the residents of a noisy retirement home who often quarrel with their neighbour. An old-fashioned looking cheerful musical with fun songs and dance scenes. A fine and colorful outfit. Bold characters where the neighbor is a somewhat irritating factor. Easily 3.0 stars.
