Intermission plot

"Life is what happens in between."

Lehiff earns his living from petty crimes. He is frantically looking for that one chance that will allow him to strike the blow of his life, so as not to have to do anything for the rest of his days. This is beyond the will of Detective Jerry Lynch, who is equally feverishly seeking an opportunity to thwart Lehiff's plans. We also meet John, who gives up his job in a supermarket to assist Lehiff and in this way hopes to win back his girlfriend Deirdre. However, Deirdre thinks she has recognized the man of her life in Sam, the married bank manager who is one of Lehiff's targets...

Nice movie with a top cast.

A lot happens, but the different storylines are cleverly intertwined.

The good acting also makes for great entertainment.

Nice mosaic film about a number of people in Dublin. Despite the fact that the various storylines and characters often intersect, the tone is somewhat incoherent. The film really goes in all directions and is therefore very unpredictable. The film is easy to watch and has a nice cast.

A potpourri, a mixed bag, a mishmash of actually meaningless figures, who whirl around and are in fact only focused on what immediately concerns them.

Fairly foul language and brutal humor fill this film where the British can usually insert more authenticity and feeling.

Multiple crazy situations in which the acting talent of a Cillian Murphy's and a Colin Farrell are best expressed.

The fast pace, which requires little thinking, makes it more comedy than drama, although some events are more gruesome.
