"Are you the exception... or the rule?"
A group of people in their twenties and thirties in Baltimore try to manage their love life, in both single and married life. Gigi looks for a man who says he's calling and actually does. Janine isn't sure she can trust her husband. Anna can't decide between the sexy married man and the honest Conor, who is always there for her, but just won't let the spark fly. Beth and Neil have had a great relationship for years, but can't figure one thing out: she thinks it's time to get married, while he likes this single life, with her, just fine. And Mary, who has built a network of sweet, caring men but has yet to find one who is straight.

Collection of familiar faces, who seem to do their best, but fail to make this film a full-fledged whole. Waste of effort and time. Still 2.5 because the cheerful Drew Barrymore and Scarlett Johansson participate.

While watching this movie, I often thought of the movies Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve. The same setup, which is to follow a few couples and/or couples who are struggling with their love life. Add to that a star cast and the picture is complete.
Still, just like the aforementioned films, it didn't interest me all that much. First off, the movie is way too long. Looking at problems for more than two hours is not easy, especially when you can already fill it all in.
Not terribly bad, there are reasonable bits in between, but in general very clichéd and predictable bite.
Small insufficient.

Indeed more of a romantic drama, the comic scenes are very hard to find.
Film holds up somewhat due to the nice cast, but the story is not interesting.
