Growing Out plot

Unlucky with his music, Tom seeks and finds work as a supervisor of an old mansion. He cleans the house and so he finds something strange: a human hand grows out of the basement floor. Over time, an arm develops on the hand and eventually a head grows on it. 'The Growth' aka 'Archie' quickly becomes Tom's friend. Tom himself also becomes involved in a romantic affair with his abusive neighbor's secretive girlfriend, Veronica. Tom continues his relationship with Veronica, despite the high chance of getting caught. But he never thinks that it could be 'Archie' who betrays him. Or how violent the consequences can be.
