Agree, when you're a bit older and your friends and their relationships go in all directions and have completely different lives, you're going to see this movie more as real. Aniston is actually just holding up a mirror to her "friends" without her realizing it. Money isn't everything either.
When Franny's husband asks her if she could befriend Olivia now that they are rich and Olivia isn't, Franny replies "I don't think so". It's really sad that people with a lot of money seem to lose their grip on real life and quickly forget what it was like when they barely had any money. Of course this was a women's film, but we men can sometimes learn something from it. Things like this just happen every day. I found the phone call between Olivia and the man (who got the inheritance) where she was cleaning very pure and shows that not all women are looking for a Brat Pitt. On their date, you immediately saw that they stand up for each other and think the same about things. The end of "I have problems" to which Olivia replies "I have problems too". Strong!

Watching a movie like this every now and then as a man is nothing wrong with me. This one is definitely worth 3 stars.

With friends like that you don't need enemies

A film that can be especially interesting and recognizable for the late 30s and 40s.

Extremely unsympathetic characters except for bad shoe Anniston. I think there are quite a few friends, not necessarily with money, who are, act and act like the characters in the film. A pleasant meeting to eat and then afterwards nice gossip about the other couple / person. But that is perhaps also very human, a fact.

A relationship comedy that ripples on and has few highs or lows. The characters are not very 'relatable' let alone 'likeable'. All in all, a somewhat boring film about a couple of couples that you are glad you never have to sit at the table with. We already knew that money doesn't buy happiness.
