A Muppet Family Christmas plot
"It's a merry Muppet Christmas with Fozzie and friends!"
Fozzie and his friends from the Muppet Show decide to visit his mother for Christmas. She was actually planning to go to California for the winter days, but she still stays at home to entertain her son and his friends. Soon the gang gets a visit from the residents of Sesame Street, who leave the houses like Christmas carolers. Kermit and his nephew Robin also discover a number of Freggles in the garden....

The muppets at their best. Very nice muppet christmas movie, nice and short, busy, with a fast pace and lots of jokes. The muppets leave for a kind of holiday home to celebrate christmas and are visited by their colleagues from sesame street and the freggles, which results in many funny situations. 4*

I liked this a little less.
Muppets + Sesame Street + Fraggle Rock. Throw the whole bunch together and let them sing some songs. That way you can easily fill 45 minutes, the question is whether it is all very funny. I actually found it a bit too meager, especially not funny enough.
Funny idea of course to chop these three series together, but it is not much more than some hustle and bustle. The jokes are rarely funny, characters hardly get any space and the Christmas songs are also all of the well-known kind.
As a Christmas special in the background it will probably be quite successful, but to really watch it with your full mind it just offers too little. A bit tighter direction, better humor and just a bit more space for the different characters would undoubtedly have made it a bit better.
