Space Jam: A New Legacy plot
"Welcome to the Jam!"
During a trip to the Warner Bros. studios. LeBron James and his son find themselves trapped in a world full of familiar stories and characters, controlled by a runaway force named Al G. To save his son, James embarks on an adventure with the Looney Tunes through a fantasy world filled with iconic movie scenes. Finally, to return home, they must win a globally watched basketball game in which Al G has created digital super versions of NBA and WNBA players.

"The Looney Tunes are back, and in a remarkable contrast to its original nostalgic predecessor, 'Space Jam: A New Legacy' thankfully represents a truly successful slam dunk that correctly and effectively uses the deserved visual and narrative upgrade to its advantage. It's far from flawless, but when you throw all those imperfections aside, you've got a strikingly visually colorful, absolutely thrilling and surprisingly emotional hybrid live-action/CGI/3D/2D animated film for all to enjoy."
And how surprised I was. A nice 7.3/10 that deserves it. You just wanted to cheer during the game; thrilling and thrilling. Compared to the first Space Jam, this one is definitely richer in story, character and emotion (with a really tear-jerking scene at the end). But said, if this turns out to be a success, they shouldn't make a new one.

This movie has a few things that work. The colors that are used, Daffy Duck and a few other small things.
But in general it fails. It doesn't have to be all right in this genre, but the starting point (the basketball match) doesn't have to be at all. That server dude decides to do that, even though he's quasi omnipotent in his world. Then why hold a competition? Because movies gotta movie, I guess.
Well, that was already a problem in the first movie. That was solved there by inserting a Bugs Bunny tricks his opponent moment. So you can safely say that part 1 and part 2 were high flyers.

Watched this sequel once and had no great expectations. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't innovative. There were some nods to the previous part, but the story was not that special. In terms of humor, it wasn't that funny either, some smiles, but no more than that.
