The search for the sources of the Nile was one of the last expeditions of the nineteenth century. England was possessed by this expedition that would become the largest since the discovery of America. The renowned scholar Captain Richard Francis Burton and the rather inexperienced Lieutenant John Hanning Speke are selected for this impressive voyage of discovery.
