Friends Stony, Cleo, Tisean and Frankie have been through a lot during their childhood in one of the slums of Los Angeles. They have been ripped off by untrustworthy employers, dumped by their heartless boyfriends and beaten up by police officers. No matter how difficult the circumstances in which they found themselves, each of them always knew that they were supported by three friends for life. Confronting a seemingly unsolvable problem pushes them to the brink of despair. When one of them threatens to lose custody of her only child, the four inseparable friends decide to take fate into their own hands. From one day to the next, the women plunge into a spiral of violence. They embark on an impressive series of bank robberies, with virtually every vulnerable financial institution in Los Angeles a potential target. However, they soon discover that while they can escape the slums with their loot, even with all the money in the world they can't solve their problems.

Al meer dan 100x gezien maar blijft een hele goeie film echt een aanrader

Seen it more than 100 times but still a very good movie highly recommended

Vlotte misdaadkomedie over vier vriendinnen, die al dan niet noodgedwongen het criminele pad opgaan. Een redelijk, af en toe spannend verhaal en over het algemeen alleszins aanvaardbaar acteerwerk i.h.b. door Queen Latifah. Best geinig eigenlijk.

Smooth crime comedy about four girlfriends, who may or may not be forced to go down the criminal path. A reasonable, occasionally exciting story and generally acceptable acting, especially by Queen Latifah. Pretty cool actually.

Beste film ooit!!!! Hij is Spannend er zit humor,romantiek, drama !!! En goed acteerwerk door Queen Latifah!! Zitten geweldige scenes in bv. Cleo die wordt doodgeschoten door de politie icm geweldige soundtrack..kippenvel!

Best movie ever!!!! He is Exciting there is humor, romance, drama !!! And good acting by Queen Latifah!! There are great scenes in eg Cleo being shot by the police in combination with a great soundtrack..goosebumps!
