Cut Throat City plot
"Desperate times. Dangerous measures."
Four young men befriended live in the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, they return to find their homes destroyed. They are out of jobs and get no help from the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). Reluctantly, they turn to a local mobster for work. The friends are hired to pull off a daring heist in the heart of the city. But the job ends badly and they have to flee, hunted by two idealistic detectives and a warlord who believes the friends have stolen the money from the heist.
