Jason Statham is now one of the most bankable stars in the world.

His journey to movie stardom came from humble beginnings as he actually performed as a diver for Great Britain in the Commonwealth Games in 1990. From there he would make his way into modelling and then acting, receiving his big break in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

From 2002 to 2017, the BBC reported that his movies in that period generated $1.5 billion in ticket sales.

According to our community, the best Statham movie is the spiritual successor to Lock Stock, Snatch, again directed by regular collaborator Guy Ritchie.

There are three Statham-Ritchie collaborations on the list - Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Wrath of Man.

In at number three is The Bank Job, while Collateral and Crank make up the top five.

Statham is now a major part of the Fast and Furious franchise and numbers six and seven in that series feature in our top 10.
