The Getaway plot
"It takes two to make it … The big two."
Fed up with prison life, bank robber Doc McCoy decides to team up with Sheriff Beynon by robbing another bank in exchange for his freedom. But the bank robbery doesn't quite go as planned and his fellow bank robber also turns out to be untrustworthy. Together with his wife, he tries to reach the village of El Paso to meet the people of the sheriff.

Good film about a criminal couple whose husbands immediately return to work after his release from prison. Well mounted and excellent location work too. Maybe a bit on the long side, but some good and sometimes exciting action scenes (like the scene in the garbage truck). Steve McQueen puts on a cool role.
