"America wasn't ready...but HE was!"
An army of terrorists threatens the United States. An international gang of mobsters led by Rostov wants to shake the United States. Throughout the country they organize attacks and make public buildings go up in smoke. The whole country is burdened by atrocities: innocent civilians are shot, panic ensues and the population hides. Thus, the entire economic activity is paralyzed.

What a great pile of shit!
From the first moment you see Chuck Norris on screen, I was laughing. And it just gets better and better... Houses filled with happy families celebrating Christmas are blown up. People are shot at random and everything seems to explode.
In the computer game Goldeneye the acting is even better than in this film. Chuck Norris is a walking nuclear bomb with a face painted on it, who arrives everywhere at the right time armed with Uzis. I think he can just teleport. Every time he arrived again in his black jeep I was rolling on the floor laughing. What a hero!
The scene at the fair too, complete with sad music. Very out of place and brilliant at the same time, the monotonous crap painting called "Chuck Norris's face" completes the scene. The film has a brilliant climax, the entire city is shooting at each other and in between Chuck walks around invincible. Seriously...do those crooks really think they can win? The movie also ends immediately when Chuck has blown up the bad guy from two meters away.
Well, there's nothing left for Chuck to shoot at...

Chuck Norris is now best known for the Norris jokes. Unlike other 'expendables', I was much less able to think of a good film with it. Invasion USA is also a typical B-action film that fans love, but which never reaches the level of better films from, for example, Schwarzenegger, Chan, Li, Stallone and co.
Norris is mainly a good martial arts fighter and much less a nice actor. You also see fewer of those cheesy one-liners that we often encounter in the genre. So fewer knockouts, Norris does it here with (a lot of) bullets. In a film that was also edited a little too hard, so that what was still present in terms of story or drama has almost completely disappeared and we mainly see action scenes. And because there is a lot of shooting, it is slightly less spectacular than hand-to-hand combat, big stunts or impressive brawls. But because of the lot of action it doesn't come to a standstill. Although the result is nothing more than a B-movie.
