Onnederlands goed often remains a somewhat lame comment, but Black Snow was really different from what appeared at the time. Sophisticated quality drama with stylish images and a layered plot. Also contemporary in how it brings some subcultures of what was then Amsterdam to life. Unbelievable actually that Tamar van den Dop has never become a fixed value in films and series. I don't think she's ever done anything of this level.
